David Roberts is a self-employed consultant with wide experience over 35 years in evaluations using both qualitative and quantitative methods. David has training and experience in Anthropology, Evaluation and Community Development. In 2016, David was awarded the Ros Hurworth Prize for Best Conference Paper at the Australasian Evaluation Society Conference in Perth, Australia. His paper examined how cognitive structures inform and drive participant responses in research interviews. David's other interests include participatory approaches, exercises as an evaluation tool, community engagement and the development of evaluation as a discipline.
